My name is Martin Audrlick\u00fd, and I come from Hradec Kr\u00e1lov\u00e9. Ever since my high school days at Bohuslav Balb\u00edn Bishop's Grammar School in Hradec Kr\u00e1lov\u00e9, I have been fascinated by abstract concepts, humanities and social sciences, media, and art. I enjoy not only the pursuit of understanding, but above all creating \u2013 whether in text or audiovisual form. I also gradually developed a love for film and later photography.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

I continued my studies in political science at the Faculty of Arts at the University of Hradec Kr\u00e1lov\u00e9, but I soon dropped out because I moved to England. There, I spent two years doing volunteer work. In the Czech Republic, I had several jobs \u2013 from manual labor in a warehouse and factory to customer service, office work, and translation. Later, I graduated in film studies at the Faculty of Arts of Charles University.<\/p>\n

I currently work as a cameraman and AV editor for Czech Television news. In addition, I also run a business<\/a> dealing in natural collections and exhibits. At the same time, I am involved in a wide range of activities \u2013 some commercial, others simply because I enjoy them or find them fulfilling \u2013 some of the results of which can be found on this website.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Although my main interests are film and audiovisual production, as well as art, humanities, and social sciences; I am fascinated by all knowledge, especially in its interconnectedness and interaction. My favorite fields and topics are narratology, mythology, storytelling, and the creation of fictional worlds, from books, legends, films, and series to video games. However, these areas cannot be considered without the context of aesthetics and semiotics. As a believer, I also find religious studies, which are closely related to the above, extremely interesting.<\/p>\n
